Redirect and DNS Management: compare features

The Redirect service (with or without mail) and the DNS Management service (with or without mail) are two services that Aruba offers with different features.

The Redirect service is ideal for those who already have a registered domain name with web space (therefore with content), either with Aruba or with a different provider, and who would like to register another domain so that users who type in the address of the latter are ‘redirected’ to the domain with web space. By associating the redirect service to a domain, it is possible to redirect said domain towards an existing web space available via a URL.
N.B.: The Redirect service does not support path forwarding. This means that it is possible to  redirect only the path: www.domain_with_redirect.ext, but not for example the path: www.domain_with_redirect.ext/folder

DETAILS

Whereas the ‘DNS Management’ service, is essential for those who have a dedicated/virtual server with Aruba (or outside of Aruba’s network) and would like to manage a registered domain name on this same server.
