It allows the administrator to add or modify the site logo, set the background, the skin and the container applied to all the modules of the portal, both for the user and for the administrator. In order to access to such a management area, when logged in as an administrator, select the option “Site settings” in the menu or click the icon . Click Basic Settings and Appearance.
 

Logo
Permits the Administrator to add or edit the site logo.

The logo is located in the top right hand corner of the default site skin. The logo is controlled by the [LOGO] skin object which can be added to a site skin.
In order to enter the Logo, complete the following fields:
At File Location, select the file directory where the image resides.
At File Name, select the logo image from the drop down list.
Click Upload New File.

Set the Body Background
Adds a background image to all the site pages. In order to proceed with the insertion:

At Body Background, complete the following fields:
At File Location, select the file directory where the image resides.
At File Name, select the image name from the drop down list.
Click Upload New File

Portal Skin
Allows to set the Default Site Skin.
This setting controls the default site skin that is applied to all site pages. Exceptions are the Admin and Host pages and the default Login and Register pages. This setting will not override the skin applied to pages where a Page Skin has been set under Page Management.

At Portal Skin, select a skin level from the following options:
Host – Displays the skin objects available to all Sites.
Site – Displays the skin objects available to the Sites.
At Portal Skin, select a skin from the drop down list.
Click Preview (optional) and Update.

Portal Container 
Allows setting the Default Site Container
This setting controls the default container that is applied to all existing and new modules. Exceptions are the default Login and Register modules. This setting will not override the container applied to module where a Module Container has been set under Module Settings.

At Portal Container, select a skin level.
Host: Displays the skin objects available to all Portals.
Site: Displays the skin objects available to the Portal.
At Portal Container, select a container from the drop down list.
Click Preview (optional) and Update.


Admin Skin

This setting controls the skin (design) that is applied to all Admin pages and the default Login, User and Register pages.

At Admin Skin, select a skin level:
Host: Displays the skin objects available to all Portals.
Site: Displays the skin objects available to the Portal.
At Admin Skin, select a skin from the drop down list.
Click Preview (optional) and Update.

Admin Container
This setting controls the default container that is applied to all Admin modules. This setting also controls the modules applied to the default Login and Register modules.

At Admin Container, select a container.
Host: Displays the containers available to all sites.
Site: Displays the containers available to the current site.
At Admin Container, select a container from the drop down list.
Click Preview (optional) and Update.
